LOUISVILLE, Miss. – A Mississippi School Ransacked, and now two are behind bars. The destruction took place Saturday in Louisville at Winston Academy. Today they are still looking at the damage. Louisville Chief of Police, L.M. Claiborne said entire classrooms were damaged, also electronics and money was stolen. Several rooms were covered in broken glass; the gym was flooded from fire hoses, big expensive Xerox machines were destroyed and even he trophy case was shattered.

The two arrested were Hunter Glass, 18 and Vernon Brown, 20. Claiborne the investigation has not reveled if their motive was revenge or some type of vendetta.

“Just appears at this point that we had a couple of youngsters that probably had too much to drink and made a bad decision. We don’t have anything to indicate if anyone else was involved,” said Claiborne.

Claiborne says there has not been a concrete number for how much damage was done, but reports have estimated it to be around 300,000 dollars in damage. So far bond has been set for the two accused. Claiborne hopes they will see a judge Tuesday morning.

The school expects to reopen Tuesday as scheduled.
