JACKSON, Miss. – You are in for a green weekend with St. Patrick’s Day. Thousands will be lining the streets for the Mal’s St. Paddy’s day parade is this Saturday in the capital city. This is the largest event in Mississippi for the month of March. If you want the party to last after the parade, there will still be plenty of entertainment to keep your feet moving.

8:00am Mal’s St. Paddy’s Parade race at the Jackson Convention Center
9:00am Trustmark Children’s Festival in front of the MS Museum of Art.
10:00am Pet Parade in front of the MS Museum of Art.
11:00am Children’s Parade in front of the MS Museum of Art.
1:00pm – Parade starts on the corner of State St. and Capital St.
4:00pm – Street Dance at Hal and Mal’s featuring Sam Doors, Riley Downing, Houndmouth, Michael Kiwanuka, and Alabama Shakes
