JACKSON, Miss.--Some strong storms are possible today as a weather system moves through Mississippi. The main threats are damaging winds and small hail.
Most of Mississippi will seen rain and storms in scattered form. North and east Mississippi have a better chance of seeing more steady rainfall and stronger storms.
Temps will be in the upper 70s for central and south and low 70s north, but will cool back down for Wednesday. Highs will be in the 60s again by mid-week, but won't get much cooler than that.
There will also be more rain and possibly more storms by Thursday.
