18 Arrests Made in Yearlong Drug Investigation

VICKSBURG, Miss–  A yearlong, joint investigation between the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Vicksburg Police Department has ended with 18 people getting arrested and charged with various drug charges. 

Crack, cocaine, marijuana, crystal meth and pot were all found in the bust. The 18 suspects range from mid-level to upper-level drug dealers. These charges range from a minimum of five to twenty years in the pen; those who are repeat or violent offenders could be looking at life in bars.

The Vicksburg Police Department credits Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Highway Patrol Swat Team, The Drug Enforcement Administration and Warren County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in the investigation.
