Grab the Umbrella: Rain on the Way

JACKSON, MISS–Be sure to grab the umbrella on the way out today.

Starting in the Northern part of the state, a 30 percent chance of rain along with cloudy skies and a high near 59. Morning rains may account for
a quarter inch of new precipitation. Tonight…increasing to a 50 percent chance of rain, with a cloudy overnight low around 47. Tomorrow, shower and thunderstorms likely with a high near 63.
It should be partly sunny in Central Mississippi as we reach for a peak of 77 degrees today. Overnight, there’s a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly in the hour-and-a-half before sunrise. Low around 58.  Showers are 60 percent likely tomorrow, especially in the early-to-mid afternoon.
We’ll reach a high of 76.
Cruising to Southern Mississippi, we’re expecting a 90 percent chance of rain with highs in the upper 70s.
