Power Company Wants More Money, Asking to Raise Your Bill

GULFPORT, Miss. – Mississippi power asking the Mississippi Public Service Commission to approve a two percent increase in retail revenue.
The company says is due to the fact that they need to update their equipment  in order to meet environmental requirements.
What that means for your monthly energy bill? You’ll see it go up about $2.63.
