This Rain Isn’t Letting Up at All

Jackson, Miss–Rain and thunderstorms–that’s our M.O. as we embark on the weekend.

Starting in North Mississippi, an 80 percent chance of precipitation with a half an inch of accumulation possible. Tonight, the chance of showers and storms dips to 40 percent with a low of 61. Tomorrow, it’s more-of-the-same. Off and on precipitation with a cloudy high of 73 degrees.
In the Southern part of the state, a 90 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today. Heavy rain with a high near 71. One to two inches of accumulation is likely. Showers and thunderstorms almost certain overnight, dipping down to 67 degrees. Tomorrow is a day for ‘indoor sports’ with a high of 70 and heavy rain, accumulating to between 1 and 2 inches.
Central Mississippi, a 90 percent chance of precipitation will bring a high of 70, along with 1 to 2 inches of new rain. Showers and thunderstorms continued overnight with a low of 64 expected. Tomorrow, an 80 percent chance of more wetness with a high of 72 en route to another inch of accumulation.
