Rain Moves Out for the Weekend

Jackson, Miss– The threat of more rain lingers today, but this weekend, this weather system will work its way out of the Magnolia state. 

In Central Mississippi, a 30 percent chance of more showers and thunderstorms today, mainly in the afternoon. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a high near 73. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of more rain with a low around 46. Mostly sunny tomorrow and Sunday with highs in the mid-60s and low 70s.
 
North Mississippi, partly sunny today with a high near 71. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of showers with a cloudy high of 45. Breezy with winds up to 15 MPH. Tomorrow, mostly sunny with a high near 62. Sunny Sunday as well with a high of 67.
 
South Mississippi, expect showers and thunderstorms with a high of 74. A possible 2 inches of accumulation.  Tonight, more showers and thunderstorms, tapering off by 2AM. Breezy with gusts up to 20 MPH. Tomorrow, mostly sunny with a high of 71. Gusts up to 20 MPH with a sunny Sunday as well, with a high of 60.
