STARKVILLE, Miss. –Back home safely, after their plane was forced to make an emergency landing in St. Louis, Mississippi State men’s basketball team is getting ready for its next opponent.

The team was on its way from a game against the University of Missouri Saturday night when an engine blew while in flight.  The players and coaches were able to walk off the plane and get home on a bus, which arrived in Starkville Sunday afternoon.

Before the harrowing experience, the Bulldogs narrowly beat the Mizzou Tigers 77-74.
