Cash Car Ripped Off; Insider Accused

GREENVILLE, Miss. – An armored-car guard, believed to have stolen $60,000 from his employer, has been arrested by Greenville police.

Alvin Johnson worked for Loomis US, a Texas based armored transport company that services more than 70,000 ATMs across the country.  Investigators said Johnson, who was responsible for pickup and delivery, took the money in December.

He is charged with embezzlement and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
