Central Mississippi, however, you’re still in for some steamy heat today: highs in the mid 90s. Your scattered showers and thunderstorms not expected until tonight and tomorrow. Once they do arrive, however, look for highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
South Mississippi looking at highs in the lower 90s today. You’ve got some stray thunderstorms on the menu tonight and tomorrow that will knock temperatures down into the mid 80s for your Saturday high.
