Confession is Good for the Soul; Woman’s Word Worth $1, 000,000

TUPELO, Miss. – Bond has been set at one million dollars  for the woman accused of killing her boyfriend and telling police all about it in long a  letter.

Leah Bishop is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Jessie Traylor, 65.  He was found dead inside his Tupleo home after Bishop left a 21 page confession note at a Laurel  museum.  Police arrested her in Louisiana and brought  her back to Mississippi Friday morning.  She made her initial appearance in Lee County Justice Court later that afternoon.
