GREENVILLE, Miss.- A Tennessee couple wanted for shooting and killing a pastor have been caught and arrested in Mississippi.

Police say 23-year-old Roger Reed Jr. and 24-year-old Lashonda Williams are being held in the Washington County jail awaiting extradition. Both were arrested this past week.

Reed and Williams have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 57-year-old Don Smith, of Hickory Hill, Tenn. on Nov. 1. Smith’s car was missing and found in Greenville.

Greenville Assistant Police Chief Delando Wilson told the Delta Democrat-Times that Memphis police alerted local authorities saying the two could be in Mississippi.
