CLEVELAND, Miss.- A shooting overnight resulted in one dead and another critically injured. The Bolivar Commercial is reporting that it happened around 1:30 Friday morning in Cleveland.
Cleveland police responded to the incident after shots were fired at the corner of Johnson and White streets. Emergency Medical Response was called to the scene.
49-year-old Lawrence Falconer was found dead as a result of an apparent gunshot wound to the head. His son, 32-year-old Willie Earl Coleman had been shot in both legs, in the upper area.
Coleman was taken to Bolivar Medical Center before he was transported to UMMC in Jackson.
