Father of pit bull victims takes off with GoFundMe donations

BILOXI, Miss.- The father of two boys attacked by a pit bull in Biloxi three weeks ago has taken-off with the donations from their GoFundMe account.

So far the account had raised $8,000 for the boys, one of which, 15-year-old Jaxon Ronsonet, was still at the New Orleans’ Children’s Hospital receiving treatment.

The boys were attacked by a pit bull while visiting their Grandmother.

Their mother, Tiffany Ronsonet, told local media that her estranged husband, Warren “Rosco” Ronsonet, had reconnected with her after the incident. Now he is on the run from police for taking the donations and skipping town on Thursday.

After the attack, Jaxon had to have many surgeries, including the amputation of his left leg. His mother said he saved his 5-year-old brother Bentley from the animal. Bentley only suffered minor injuries requiring stitches from the mauling. Jaxon had picked his brother up and set him on top of a trash can as the dog attacked.

She posted on Facebook the following statement:
