Former USM Student Arrested for Stalking Faculty

CARRIERE, Miss.- A former University of Southern Mississippi student has been arrested on charges of stalking two faculty members and posting an email threat against the school’s Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

Joshua Scarabin, 40, of Carriere, has been charged with two counts of cyberstalking and one count of posing a threat to cause injury.

Scarabin was arrested Saturday in Carriere and is being held at the Forrest County jail on a $75,000 bond.
