Freezing temperatures and cloudy skies – 3-4-19

Here’s a quick rundown of the weather today across Mississippi.

In north Mississippi, mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-30s. The lowest wind chill readings will range from 7 to 12 in the morning. At night, partly cloudy with lows in the lower 20s and wind chill readings will be anywhere from 12 to 17 tonight.

In central Mississippi, colder today with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of light rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the lower 40s and wind chill readings will be anywhere from 13 to 18. Tonight, mostly cloudy skies then clearing up with a slight chance of light rain and lows will drop down into the mid-20s. Wind chill readings will range from 12 to 17.

In south Mississippi, much cooler today with mostly cloudy skies early int he morning, then becoming mostly sunny. There is a slight chance of light rain in the afternoon and highs will near 50. In the evening, mostly cloudy skies that will then become partly cloudy. There is also a slight chance of light rain and lows will near 30.
