During the month of February, the Grammy Museum in Cleveland, MS, will honor Black History Month by hosting a number of events.

These events will include movie screenings, food trucks, a workshop, and a Mardi Gras family day, which will all be held at the museum. NaCherrie Cooper, the Marketing and Communications manager for the museum, wants everyone to know that they are welcome to the events.

“I think what we want to get across to  Mississippians is that music is universal and we celebrate all races and people of all different backgrounds to come to the museum because no matter what your background is, you will find something for you there; something that will interest you,” Cooper said.

They will also be posting 28 facts about African American inventors on their social media pages each day in February.
