And the healthiest school in the great Magnolia State is…(drum roll)…Grenada Elementary!
That honor for 2017 has been bestowed by the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation. Along with bragging rights, Grenada Elementary will receive 50 thousand dollars. The money will be used to further enhance the wellness programs at Grenada Elementary. Columbia Elementary and Pass Christian Elementary were also distinguished for their focus on student health and will each receive 25 thousand dollars.
It almost make one wistful for those Flinstone Vitamins of our youth.
