Higher Costs for Higher Ed

JACKSON, Miss. – A degree from one of Mississippi’s two-year colleges may cost you more.

Over half of the state’s 15 independently governed community and junior colleges will raise tuition by an average of 4 percent this fall.  The state Board of Community and Junior Colleges estimates the average tuition will rise from $2,377 to $2,476.
