Hood Versus Google: Judge to Rule Today Over Mississippi Consumer Protection, Internet Behavior

JACKSON, Miss–  Investigating Google, Attorney General Jim Hood and eleven other attorneys general. 

Argument taken to court, Hood and the other attorneys general say Google could be held responsible for what people say and do when online under Mississippi’s Consumer Protection laws. Google says they have no responsibility when it comes to how people behave on the internet, and they’ve requested that the judge block Hood’s investigation into the company. The judge is expected to rule on that today.
