Hurricane Laura: Further update from MEMA

UPDATE: Hurricane Laura has now weakened into a Tropical Storm

Yesterday, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) announced that they are sending a crew over to Louisiana in order to aid amid the landfall of Hurricane Laura (Category 4), but this doesn’t mean that Mississippi won’t see any severe weather.

Being on the east side, the Magnolia State is bound to receive some heavy rainfall and even see some tornado and flooding action. Here is an update from MEMA meteorologist Kelly Richardson.
