Inmate Tries to Smuggle Drugs into Prison

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. – An inmate tries to bribe a prison guard to bring drugs into the Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility.

The officer reported to WCBI, Trent Dora, the 40 year old inmate, told the officer if he drove to Starkville to pick up the package of spice from Andrea Brown (the drug supplier) he would pay him. The guard agreed to the deal only to set Dora and Brown up. Winston County Sheriff’s Department, Oktibbeha Country Sherriff’s Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics were all in on the plan.

Dora and Brown will both be spending time in jail. Dora was already serving 15 years for a robbery and now they are both being charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a prison.
