Insurance Fraud: Coffeeville Woman Accused of Double Dipping

COFFEEVILLE, Miss.–IF you had a wreck, called the insurance company, got the car paid off and have a check in your hand, you can’t do it all over again for the same wreck. That’s what Jennifer Gail Franklin, 30, of Coffeeville is accused of doing.

Attorney General Jim Hood announced her arrest on state insurance fraud charges Tuesday.

Hood said Franklin had a wreck May 21 and got paid. He said she then tried t defraud ACCC Insurance Company by filing a claim again in October on the same damages.

She was indicted this week by the Yalobusha County Grand Jury.

Franklin could get three years in the pen if she is convicted.
