NATCHEZ, Miss.- It doesn’t take a drug-smuggling expert to know that a U.S. Post Office is not the place you want to be picking up your drugs. Natchez Police arrested Antoine Spates for doing just that.
Spates was suspected of trying to pick up a package of high-grade marijuana from the post office. A postal worker noticed the package and called the police.
He’s looking at felony drug charges in connection with the incident.
The marijuana was estimated by drug authorities to be valued at close to $60,000.
