PEARL, Miss. The manhunt for a man covered in blood in Pearl yesterday has been called off.
Cops got a call from a woman claiming Patrick McCrory, 34, had attacked her. She said she hit back and he ran into the woods bleeding once cops showed up.
The search was called off after a few hours.
Captain Brian McGairty told WAPT they don’t have definite charges on the guy and they’re hoping if they back off he’ll come out on his own.
Police said he has a criminal past including resisting arrest and domestic violence but they don’t think the public is in danger.
