Mississippi Girlchoir Teaching Vocal Excellence

The Mississippi Girlchoir (MGC) is Mississippi’s premier choral organization for girls in grades 3-12. The organization was founded in 1995 with just 17 young women and has grown to more than 100 voices divided into four distinct choirs:

Their mission is to foster a dedicated community of vocal excellence through music education, vocal training and commitment to artistry in music.

Laurel, the creative director and Scott, the conductor stopped by the studio to talk teaching excellence and singing abroad.
