JOHNSTON, R.I.- A Mississippi man was arrested by Johnston police Thursday for taking a gun to a high school.
Jonathan Frank Mikovick of D’Iberville, Mississippi, has been charged with possession of a gun on the grounds of Johnston High School.
Police said the 38-year-old drove into the back parking lot of the high school and knocked on the back door. The teacher aide did not let him enter the building and notified the principal and school officer.
Police are still investigating the incident.
