JACKSON, Miss. — Amtrack passenger train service will not be available in some Mississippi towns next month.
The rail service will be interrupted while maintenance work is done on some tracks.
Amtrack says the City of New Orleans will not run between several southeast cities, including Meridian, Laurel, Hattiesburg and Picayune on the following dates: January 6-9; January 20-23, January 27-30 and February 3-6.
