Mississippians Helping Flood Victims in South Carolina

JACKSON, Miss. – The Salvation Army of Mississippi along with the Salvation Army’s of Alabama and Louisiana are sending 1400 disaster clean-up kits, along with close to 80 food distribution containers to South Carolina flood victims.

A clean-up kit consists of squeegee mop, scrub brush, face mask, work gloves, all-pupose cleaner, bleach, broom and a mop.

The insulated food containers will be used to support distribution of hot food to residents in need.

The supplies will be going strait from Jackson to South Carolina.
