Monday weather brings rain chances, cooler temps

Jackson, Miss- It’s mostly damp around Mississippi today to kick off the work week.

Starting in the northern part of the state, a 50 percent chance of showers today. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 92. Tonight, there’s still a 50 percent chance of rain along with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 73. Tomorrow, there’s 60 percent likelihood of precipitation with a mostly cloudy high of 89 degrees.
In South Mississippi, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today along with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 90. Tonight, a 30 percent chance of showers along with a low of 76 degrees. Tomorrow brings a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms along with a partly sunny day and a high near 88.
Central Mississippi, by now it’s familiar, a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, probably after 10 AM with patchy fog BEFORE 10AM. Today we’ll see a high of around 89 degrees. Tonight, we’re in for a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly before midnight with a mostly cloudy overnight low of 72. Tomorrow, a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2PM. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a high near 90.
