One Bowl Game Down, One to Go: Ole Miss Whips Georgia Tech

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–The Music City Bowl is over and for the first match-up between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech in 42 years, it was Mississippi bringing home the trophy. The final was 25 to 17.

Ole Miss now has an 8-5 record for the year.

Quarterback Bo Wallace was undoubtedly the lead element in the Ole Miss victory, with 342 offensive yards and three touchdowns.

The challenge now is for Mississippi State, taking on Rice in the Liberty Bowl, to be played in Memphis today.

You can catch the game at 2 p.m. on ESPN.

Mississippi State has a 6-6 record on the year, while Rice boasts a 10-3 record, so far. Some websites are giving Rice the odds, so it’s up to Bulldog Quarterback Dak Prescott and team to meet the challenge.
