JACKSON, Miss. – A local school employee has been arrested on a grand larceny charge after police said she was caught on surveillance video taking six iPads from the school.
Angela Fleming, 49, worked with the cleaning crew at St. Richards Elementary School in Jackson. Police say she confessed to taking the iPads, which are valued at $2,688. Investigators said Fleming has an extensive arrest record which includes misdemeanor and felony charges.
