TUPELO, Miss.–It was Sept. of last year when a woman was kidnapped, beaten severely and set on fire with gasoline. She managed to stop, drop and roll and then to run away when the flames were finally out. Now the man accused in the crime is set for trial today.

But, a judge in Lee County has ordered that 44-year-old Christopher Mink gets a psychological evaluation.

Mink, of Baldwyn, is still in jail. His bond was set at $1 million. The request for the evaluation came from his lawyers.

He has pleaded not guilty to assault, kidnapping and arson charges.
