Rand Paul to Visit Mississippi for Republican Luncheon

BILXOI, Miss. – Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will be paying a visit to the magnolia state next month. Mississippi Republican Party Chair Joe Nosef made that announcement Wednesday on Supertalk 103.1’s Kipp Gregory Hour with Kipp Gregory in Gulfport.

“We’re just thrilled about it, because a lot of people feel like Senator Paul is somebody who appeals to people who say they are more libertarian republicans or they are more conservative – he is one of those refreshing people who tells you what he things as opposed to hearing one of those politician type answers,” said Nosef.

Nosef says Paul will be the speaker at a December 8 fundraising luncheon held by the Mississippi Republican Party. The location has yet to be determined.

Nosef says it was an expensive year for the party, having to pay for presentation during lawsuits during the election.

“This has been an expensive year for us and time consuming year, you know they joked about how the Seinfeld show used to be a show about nothing, we had to spend several months in a lawsuit about nothing, or where we were alleged to have done nothing, but we still have legal fees about that.”

The luncheon will be open everyone who has enough money to buy a ticket for the event.
