Rebels Make Their Way Back Into Top Ten, MSU at No. 1 for Week Five

OXFORD, Miss.–One of the best season in recent history for the Ole Miss Rebels got good again with an easy win Saturday as the beat the Presbyterian Blue Hose in what some people would not even call a contest, 48 to 0. That put the Rebs back into the top ten in the AP Poll at No. 10.

Meanwhile, the Mississippi State Bulldogs continued with the season of a lifetime at 9-0 after a homecoming win over UT Martin Saturday 45 to 16. The Dawgs stayed at No. 1 in the AP Poll.

For Delta State it was another win in Alabama, this time over Concordia College, 73 to 6.

The Marshall Thundering Herd brought their thunder to Southern Miss and stormed the Golden Eagles with a 63 to 17 loss for USM.

For JSU it was another loss to Alabama State at Montgomery, 26 to 10.

Fpr Alcorn it was a 41 to 14 win over Alabama A&M at Huntsville.
