Seven Murder Suspects Rounded Up in Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Hattiesburg police are working hard this week. They captured the last suspect Wednesday night in relation to last week’s home invasion that ended with Robert Williams being shot to death. They found Daylon Waldrop at a home in Laurel after acting on a tip from crimestoppers. Two other suspects David Fairley and Derrick Lamont Bolton turned themselves earlier this week. All three are charged with murder.

Four other murder suspects, Marquise Dean, 24 of Hattiesburg, Mark Joyce, 28 of Hattiesburg, William Farrell, 32 of Arab, Alabama, and Virie Parker, 25 of Hattiesburg, are behind bars. Cops think they are responsible for the death of William Kane of Florida. He was staying at a motel while in town working for a local asphalt company. Autopsy reports show he was beaten to death.

Both murders are still under investigation.
