Skeletal Bones Found May Belong to Missing Woman

TERRY, Miss.- Skeletal remains found in Terry Saturday may belong to a woman who went missing back in April.

Hazel Williams, 78, has been missing since April 7. She was last seen at 9 p.m. at her home on Bozeman Road just outside of Terry and suffers from early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

On Saturday, Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart told WLBT she got a call around noon that the remains had been discovered in a wooded cow pasture off Green Drive.

She says the remains were completely skeletal, indicating the body had likely been there for a few months.

Grisham-Stewart says they are now retrieving dental records for Williams.
