JACKSON, MISS– Slight chances of rain threaten the day across the state.

Starting in Central Mississippi, a 20 percent chance of precipitation, mainly after 2PM. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 94 with heat index values as high as 98. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of showers with a low of 73.Tomorrow, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms , then turning mostly sunny with a high near 94.
South Mississippi, a 40 percent chance of showers today, then mostly sunny with a high near 89 degrees. Tonight, a 40 percent chance of rain before 8PM, then partly cloudy with an overnight low around 79. Tomorrow, a 30 percent chance of showers in the morning, turning partly sunny with a high near 90.
North Mississippi, a 30 percent chance of rain today followed by partly sunny skies with a high near 91. Tonight, a 30 percent likelihood of showers and thunderstorms, dipping down to around 72. Tomorrow, mostly sunny with a high near 92 degrees.
