JACKSON, MISS– A poll by Y’all Politics shows who Mississippi folks are hoping will take the nomination for president from their respective conventions.
No surprises here: Donald Trump takes the Republican vote in Mississippi, while Hillary Clinton takes the Democratic vote.
Of the people polled for the Republican ticket, 41% vouched for Donald Trump, while the others trailed far behind. Cruz took 17%, Rubio at 16%, 8% claimed Kasich could get the job done, and 5% support Carson, who is no longer actively running for president. He’s withdrawn from tonight’s Fox News debate.
On the democratic poll, an overwhelming 65% vouched for Hillary Clinton, while only 11% say they’ll vote for Bernie Sanders.
