Three Plead Not Guilty in McComb Murder

McCOMB, Miss. — It was not guilty pleas from three charged in the death of 53-year-old Kenneth Thompson this week. Thompson was found stabbed to death along with his burnt up Chevy Silverado in the woods near McComb last year.
Police believe Thompson’s 15-year-old son Blake Thompson, 18 year old Lajerrious Perkins, and 27-year-old Greg Fortenberry schemed to kill Thompson. Then former Brookhaven police officer Jasper Pittman helped them hide the body and burn Thompson’s pickup truck in order hide the evidence. Pittman will be arraigned in court Monday.
