Thursday weather brings small chance of rain, mostly sunshine

JACKSON, MISS– Our chance of rain is greatest in South Mississippi today.

Aside from that, North Mississippi, today will be mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 94 degrees. Tonight, partly cloudy with a low around 70. Tomorrow, as we sail into weekend mode, there’s a 20 percent chance of rain. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 92.
Central Mississippi, isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2pm, but the likelihood of precipitation is just 10 percent.  Sunny, with a high near 93 degrees. Tonight, that same 10 percent chance of rain, with a low of 74. Tomorrow, there’s a 20 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94 degrees.
 South Mississippi, you’re more likely to get wet, but still, just a 40 percent chance of rain. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 88. Breezes up to 10 MPH. Tonight, a 30 percent likelihood of precipitation. Mostly cloudy with a low around 76. Tomorrow, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers under mostly cloudy skies with a high near 87.
