Two Men Accused and Arrested for Smuggling Drugs into Hinds County Jail

JACKSON, Miss.- Two men were arrested after trying to smuggle drugs into the Hinds County Jail in Jackson, according to Jackson Police Department.

The sheriff’s department said 24-year-old Kion Hughes and 19-year-old Kadarrion Reed tried to sneak in marijuana, tobacco and other items into the jail.

The men tried to run after being caught, but were taken down and arrested.
