UPDATE: Two Mississippi escapees captured

UPDATE: 

The two escapees have been captured and are now in custody.

Original report: 

Christopher Parmenter and Andrew William Carter are wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

23 year-old Parmenter (left) and 43 year-old Carter (right) escaped the Noxubee County Transitional Center in Macon last night around 7:45 p.m.

Both men have been convicted of burglary.

Parmenter, convicted in Marshall County, is on house arrest. He is serving a total of three years for two residential burglary convictions. He was sentenced on November 21st, 2016.

Carter, convicted in Union County, is on parole. He was sentenced to three years, followed by four years’ probation on October 12th, 2016.
