Uber Could be Headed Out of Southern Mississippi

BILOXI, Miss. – Uber will most likely be leaving southern Mississippi.  The Harrison County Motor Vehicle for Hire Authority had been working since June to try and get the car service company to comply with certain ordinances and regulations.

According to an Uber representative, the company isn’t interested in the requirement to register their drivers.

Uber is still available in parts of northern and central Mississippi.
