UPDATE: Man accused of burning girlfriend alive arrested

Jerry Glenn Willis, 43, has been arrested in Arkansas after being accused of domestic aggravated assault and kidnapping after his alleged live-in girlfriend was found burned alive.  

Troopers located the 2014 black Nissan Rogue SUV that Willis was last reported to be driving in Blackton, Arkansas around 1:15 p.m. on Friday. He was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Monroe County, Arkansas jail until he is taken back to Mississippi.

Previous: 

The victim, 46-year-old Stacy Mitchell Frank, was found shortly after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8 on Highway 11 in Pearl River County. She had been doused with gasoline, set afire and left beside the road. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and then taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Burn Unit in Jackson.

Both the suspect and victim list 130 George Mitchell Road, Picayune as their home address.

Poplarville Police and deputies of the Pearl River Sheriff’s Office are assisting MBI’s investigation.
