UPDATE: 10:15 p.m. National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for parts of North Mississippi. The affected counties are Alcorn, Prentiss, and Tishomingo, Lee, Tippah and Union.
The National Weather Service says there is bad weather headed this way and is expected to hit tonight and last through Sunday morning. People should stay alert and have an emergency plan in the event of damaging storms or tornadoes.
