Wednesday weather rundown: 7-19-17 more rain for the Coast, dry elsewhere

North Mississippi looking at another hot, dry day ahead as temperatures tick toward the mid 90 mark today. A steady breeze and low humidity will help carry you through, but those temperatures are getting dangerous: be sure to keep plenty of water nearby and always check the backseat. Tomorrow looking just the same: hot and dry with temperatures returning to the mid 90s.

Central Mississippi seeing a similar situation with partly cloudy skies today and a high breaking 95 across much of the area. Look for a diminished chance to catch an afternoon shower, at least for the next few days. Tomorrow more of the same: hot and cloudy with little chance for rain and highs peaking near 95.

Across much of south Mississippi, however, rain is still on the menu: overnight thunderstorms will fizzle and break throughout the morning, then rekindle for this afternoon. Today’s high in the upper 80s, but look for things to warm some tomorrow as highs tip over into the lower 90s.
