PURVIS, Miss.- Two men were killed in a traffic accident in Lamar county Monday night.
Both from Columbia, 24-year-old Matthew Blake Harrell and 26-year-old Cody Hammond were pronounced dead at the scene of an accident in Lamar County, says the county coroner to WLBT.
Authorities said that Harrell, who was driving a black Ford Mustang went off of the road and hit a tree. They still do not know what caused the wreck and an investigation is ongoing.
