Four suspects are behind bars on attempted murder charges in Adams County.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a ‘shots fired’ call on Redd Loop Road last Monday. When they arrived, no suspects or victims were at the scene, but witnesses described a group of men fighting before shots were fired.

According to police, “the group of juvenile victims” returned to the scene shortly after officers arrived and said their vehicle and house had been shot up. An initial investigation revealed that the car and home had been hit with over 20 rounds of gunfire. Police were eventually able to identify three suspects in the case as brothers 16-year-old Karon Cade and 17-year-old Ravon Cade, along with 20-year-old Javerius Mosby.

Ravon Cade and Mosby were arrested on Friday, and Karon Cade was arrested on Saturday. All three suspects have been charged with three counts of attempted murder.

A fourth suspect was identified as 18-year-old Taron Woods, who police say picked up the other three suspects and drove them away from the crime scene. Woods has now been charged with accessory after the fact to attempted murder.

All four suspects are currently being held at the Adams County Jail.
